Pia came out of the womb ready to run sh*t.
When asked as a child what she wanted to be when she grew up, she would coyly respond "in charge." But don't be scared, most people are surprised that this super smiley powerhouse is a born and bred New Yorker, and she's glad she doesn't fit the stereotype.
A graduate of Hunter College High School
With a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University (which she swears was ranked #9 at the time of admissions, though who’s counting), you’d think this gal was all about getting a high powered finance job or professorship like her compatriots! But while she gets almost as excited by excel sheets as she does when her favorite salsa song comes on, her calling was and always has been entrepreneurship.
Initially it was social entrepreneurship: accepting a StartingBloc fellowship, starting a micro-finance nonprofit, and joining Clinton Global Initiative.
But her need for speed and efficiency made the nonprofit world a bit of a downer, so she changed course to look for other ways to help empower individuals that played to her strengths of impatience.
Which brings us to today:
Writing, speaking and training individuals and small businesses on how to own their badassery, build profitable businesses that create a life of freedom and flexibility. Inspiring individuals to invest energy into become massively valuable to the world while enjoying the journey. Helping experts build brands that communicate their expertise, and then teaching them how to be seen as the go-to authority in their space.
Entrepreneurial Badass in her own right,
